Fort Snelling State Park
*The parks most historic and notable feature is the Fort Snelling which is from 1820.
*The fort itself it controlled by Minnesota Historical Society and requires a separate entrance fee.
*Some different recreational events occur on a daily basis at the park such as:biking, boating,cross-country skiing, fishing, hiking, and swimming.
*Different events and exhibits are available at the park daily to entertain people of all ages.
*Admission to get into the park is $10 adults,$8 seniors and college students, $5 children ages 6-17,Free for Children 5 and under.
*Hours vary depending on the day. Set hours between Memorial Day and Labor Day are Tuesday through Sunday 10am to 5pm, Sunday noon to 5pm, Monday Closed. For more details on hours contact the state park at (651)259-3000.
