Burlington Opens Store in South Minneapolis, Donates $ 50,000 | Business

Burlington Stores has kept its commitment to the Minneapolis community with its 10e The Minnesota location, which will not only provide area residents with jobs and market values, but will help support area students, teachers, and small business owners with the ability to further restore and rebuild in following the murder of George Floyd last year.

Burlington donated $ 25,000 to teachers and students at nearby South High School as part of the retailer partnership with the national Minneapolis-based nonprofit, AdoptAClassroom.org. The funding will be used by teachers at South High School to purchase the classroom materials their students need to learn and succeed.

Burlington stores offer a year-round layaway program that allows customers to put items on hold at checkout and then return to pay for them later.
